We’re excited to announce that Inkwell Knights is now a monthly chess club meeting every third Wednesday of the month! Bring your own board and challenge fellow enthusiasts in a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, everyone is invited to enjoy an evening of friendly competition and camaraderie.
Event Details:
- When: Third Wednesday of every month 6 PM - 9 PM
- Where: inkwell., 1125 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA
- Cost: Sliding scale donation of $5 to $20
- Bonus: Enjoy a complimentary beverage, including coffee from our favorite provider, Denim Coffee!
Did you know that Inkwell’s owner, Kyle, was a competitive chess player at the age of eleven? He was ranked in the state and often the youngest competitor in the room. The movie “Searching for Bobby Fischer” ignited his love for chess, inspiring him to read books on the subject and idolize the legendary Bobby Fischer for many years.
Gather your chess-loving friends and mark your calendars! Future events, like Dopamine and Caffeine, will take place on the final Sunday of every month and will also be BYOB.
