This month, we’re thrilled to feature the talented poet ShadWroteThat. Rashad Thomas, known as Shad, began writing at the age of 11 as a way to express himself during challenging times. Inspired by his sister and late-night sessions watching Def Poetry Jam, Shad found his voice in poetry. His work, featured in school literary magazines and open mic nights, showcases his journey and evolving confidence. As Shad himself says, "Keep reading because ShadWroteThat."
