Celebrate the rich tapestry of black art and culture at inkwell. with our special art show featuring the works of five incredibly talented black artists: the renowned Al Johnson and the well-respected Anthony Smith, Tyrone Webb, Alex Merriman and Michael Freeman. As part of our month-long Juneteenth celebration, this exhibit is a tribute to the creativity and influence of black artists in our society.

Presented by atls., this show marks the inaugural event in the "For the l.o.v.e of Art." series, aptly titled All Things Black. We are thrilled to showcase the diverse and powerful artwork of these five artists, each bringing their unique perspective and style to the forefront.

The series kicks off on 06.15.24, with an artist talk scheduled for 06.20.24. Join us as we delve into the inspiration and stories behind the artwork, with doors opening at 7 for the launch and on 06.20, doors open at 6pm and the artist talk and Q&A session beginning at 7pm. Light refreshments will be served on opening night as well as during the artist talk, accompanied by soothing music to enhance the ambiance.
